July 29th, 2010 . by admin I want to make a family tree for my son, but am stuck trying to figure out how to add in his step grandparents. Not to mention my step parents family. How do you add them to a Family Tree? If you have a sample or template that would be helpful also.
There are particular lines to indicate marriage, divorce and remarriage. I cannot describe them in here because it won’t make any sense but if you go to www.myheritage.com or www.tribalpages.com you can get one constructed in there with the right indications. Usually a diagonal on the line between you and your exhusband will indicate divorce and a single line between your ex and his new wife will indicate a new marriage. The children born to them will be contected to the single line and the children born to him an you will be connected to the line with a diagonal. Same for you and your new husband.
